Princess Belton, Creator of Bridging the Gap
A native from Jersey City, New Jersey, Princess Belton received her BFA in Visual Arts at Mason Gross School of the Arts and certificate in Women’s Leadership at the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Rutgers University. In 2011, she interned at the Arlington Arts Center as part of ArtTable’s Summer Mentored Internship for Diversity in the Visual Arts Program. Princess is currently an M.A. Arts Administration Thesis Candidate at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In fulfilment of her graduate degree at SCAD, this spring she will host a one day symposium addressing the arts leadership gap, succession planning and the attraction and retention of emerging arts leaders.
